From what age can my child start ballet classes at BeauBallet?

Our ballet classes start from 20 months with Baby Ballet, where toddlers discover dance together with their parents. We offer classes adapted to every age group, allowing children to progress at their own pace.

Yes, of course! Our classes are open to all children, girls and boys. Ballet is a beneficial discipline for everyone, and we encourage boys to join our classes to develop their strength, coordination and artistic expression.

What is the time commitment required for the classes?

The frequency of classes varies depending on the child's level and age. For younger children, one class per week is generally sufficient. As children progress, particularly in pre-professional programmes, the number of classes may increase.

What equipment does my child need for ballet classes?

For ballet classes, your child will need a leotard, tights, ballet slippers, and optionally a dance skirt. For boys, a t-shirt, tights or dance trousers, and ballet slippers are appropriate. The school uniform can be purchased at reception.

Can parents be present at the trial class?

Yes, for younger children we encourage parents to attend the trial class so the child feels safe and supported. As children grow older, they are encouraged to participate on their own, but parents can always observe from our waiting area.

Are there shows or performances for students?

Yes, every year we organise a grand show where all students have the opportunity to perform on stage and showcase their progress. We also organise demonstration classes for parents twice a year.

How is my child's progress tracked?

Our teachers closely monitor each student's progress and provide regular feedback. Each child has a personal progress booklet and participates in a motivation and progress tracking programme. Twice a year, we organise a demonstration class for parents.

Are there options for children who wish to pursue ballet more intensively?

Yes, for particularly passionate and talented children, we offer a pre-professional training programme from age 6.5. This programme is designed to prepare young dancers for a potential career in ballet.

Our ballet classes for children aged 4-5 provide a true introduction to the basics of classical ballet. With age-appropriate exercises, children develop coordination, balance, sense of rhythm, as well as their posture, basic positions and movements in ballet. In addition to technical basics, children also begin to learn choreography, learning to remember and connect movements in sequence, which stimulates their creativity, concentration and ability to work in groups.

Our ballet classes for children aged 6 to 9 deepen their learning and familiarity with classical dance by perfecting the basics and incorporating more complex movements. Students work on posture, alignment, flexibility and develop the strength and precision needed for more difficult movements. At the same time, they learn choreography, strengthening their memory, musicality and artistry, while developing discipline and working as a group in a supportive environment.
