Danse Classique

Baby Ballet

Children 20-26 months

Our ballet classes for children provide a gentle and fascinating introduction to the world of dance, where children enjoy movement as they develop coordination, balance and a sense of rhythm. These classes are taught in the company of parents who actively help their children, allowing little ones to feel safe and receive support while developing their creativity with games, simple exercises and musical stories.

45 min

Children 2-3 years old

Our ballet classes for children aged 2 to 3 represent an important step in their dance journey. At this level, children follow lessons alone, without the presence of parents, which strengthens their autonomy and self-confidence. With fun and simple exercises, children learn the fundamentals of classical ballet by developing coordination, balance, understanding of rhythm and their love of dance.

45-50 min

Children 4-5 years old

Our ballet classes for children aged 4-5 provide a true introduction to the basics of classical ballet. With age-appropriate exercises, children develop coordination, balance, sense of rhythm, as well as their posture, basic positions and movements in ballet. In addition to technical basics, children also begin to learn choreography, learning to remember and connect movements in sequence, which stimulates their creativity, concentration and ability to work in groups.

50 min

Children 6-9 years old

Our ballet classes for children aged 6 to 9 deepen their learning and familiarity with classical dance by perfecting the basics and incorporating more complex movements. Students work on posture, alignment, flexibility and develop the strength and precision needed for more difficult movements. At the same time, they learn choreography, strengthening their memory, musicality and artistry, while developing discipline and working as a group in a supportive environment.

1 hour

Children 10+ years

Our ballet classes for children aged 10 and over are aimed at dancers with a solid technical foundation, ready to take on more complex challenges. Emphasis is placed on improving technique, posture, strength, flexibility and endurance. Students work on complex movements and develop their ability to interpret music with depth and expression. The training also includes advanced choreography, encouraging creativity and artistic flair.

1 hour

Contemporary Dance

Our contemporary dance classes for children aged 8 and up offer a dynamic and expressive dance style different from classical ballet. These classes stimulate creativity through fluid movements, while developing coordination, flexibility, and body awareness. Contemporary dance emphasizes self-expression, improvisation and performance of music, which allows children to develop artistically and develop their technical skills.

Pre-Professional Education

Absolutely ! Our lessons are designed to accommodate children of all levels, including beginners. Each child is guided according to their experience and abilities to ensure they feel comfortable and progress with confidence.
Yes of course ! Our classes are open to all children, girls and boys. Ballet is a discipline that benefits everyone, and we encourage boys to join our classes to develop their strength, coordination and artistic expression.
The frequency of lessons varies depending on the level and age of the child. For younger children, one lesson per week is generally sufficient. As children advance, particularly in pre-professional programs, the number of courses may increase.
For ballet classes, your child will need a leotard, tights, ballet slippers, and possibly a dance skirt. For boys, a t-shirt, tights or dance pants, and ballet slippers are appropriate. We have school uniforms that you can purchase at reception.
Yes, for younger children we encourage parental presence during the trial lesson so that the child feels safe and supported. As children get older, they are encouraged to participate on their own, but parents can always observe from our waiting area.
Yes, every year we organize a big show where all students have the opportunity to go on stage and show their progress. It’s a magical time for children and their families, creating unforgettable memories.
Our teachers closely monitor each student's progress and provide regular feedback. They tailor lessons based on individual needs and offer recommendations to help each child thrive. In addition, each child has a tracking notebook in our school and participates in a motivation and progress monitoring program. Twice a year we hold a demonstration class for parents so they can observe their child's progress.
Yes, for particularly passionate and talented children, we offer a pre-professional training program from age 6.5. This program is designed to prepare young dancers for a possible career in ballet.
